XPA Uses and Neat Ideas: When using the XPA the Phone you are using can do more thing than just run the train.... Engine Addresses: Store as many as you phone allows, Select memory program mode, Press (Pound) (Engine No.) ( Star ) and the memory location: To recall the engine: Turn the phone ON now press the memory location and that engine is being controlled. To Change to another engine simply recall another memory location and that engine is now controlled. (Some phone memory option may be different check your manufactures instruction sheet) With Sound the Options come alive: With Sound the recall option program in a grade crossing horn at a memory location, a bell and forward horn at another location. A reverse horn at a third memory location. Some phones even offer a pause option this can be used to give delay between issued functions. Turn a bell ON insert a Pause or two turn the bell OFF, now when you recall the memory location the bell rings for a short time and the bell stops automatically. Use the pause option to issue horn sequences in the same manor as the bell. Select the memory program mode, Press (Star), (Function No.), (Pause), (Function No.). then select the memory location for this sequence. Add more sequences at other memory locations as desired. Once the Memory is programmed all that is need is to recall the memory location and the sequence of functions will be issued without the need to issue each function over and over again.
